You know, mostly during quarantine I missed the good coffees from my favorite coffee shops, smoothies, and communication with a good barista, who will smile friendly, recommend their specialties, and tell you about coffees specific to this place. One of my favorite places where my girls are always waiting for me with a good word is café 5 to go.
It’s eco time
Since lately, the subject of eco – organic has started to interest me more and more, and I was very pleased to hear that 5 to go have replaced the straws from plastic with some which are edible and biodegradable, SORBOS brand.
When I think of all the “eco” products that appear on the market, for me this topic has 2 interests. The first I could say would really be the environment (as much as it might sound like a cliché). Unfortunately, for the human character is natural to disregard or to be a little more indifferent to real problems as long as they do not harm us directly, and the problem of the environment would be one of them. I don’t want to go into too much detail, because I don’t want to do propaganda and deviate from the subject, which is why I’m going to move on to the interest number two 😊
The second one is obviously the financial side. I noticed that all eco products are a little more expensive, but clearly, their durability is greater and less harmful (and here Comes my image with all the bags collected from the house, which are put in another bag, as we do).
I’m not made of plastic
More and more restaurants and cafes in Romania give up plastic products, which is much more gratifying. Think about how many straws “leave” the premises of the cafés, especially in summer, when soft drinks are much more in demand and appreciated (I am literally dying of heat! A lemonade would really work).
