And you really can! No, it doesn’t hurt you, and it’s not dangerous, but more – you just have to trust yourself and a hammock! Have you ever heard about the concept of Anti Gravity?
SECONDS OF HISTORY
Anti gravity, in fact, is a unique type of yoga that combines elements of acrobatics, yoga, and dance! One day an American decided that yoga moves are much harder to perform on the floor, and then he tried to make them in the air in a hammock that plays the role of a stand, and the rest is history! A history we can try!
FEEL THAT BODY, SHAKE IT
The first time you’re always very afraid to “fly”. You start panicking, and get all kinds of thoughts “what if I fall out of the hammock?”, “well, how do you want me to relax, when I’m actually upside down and just holding my feet?”. It’s so hard for you to trust that hammock, which is meant to be your strongest partner at that hour. As in any situation in life, trust gradually takes it. And a lesson that I have learned is that you have to trust yourself, that you will be able to float, that if you relax nothing bad will happen, but on the contrary, you will be able to find your balance, and the worries and negative thoughts will gradually disappear. Don’t forget that you and your body are a whole. Give it a chance to prove that it is strong and that it can fly 😊
MOVE AND SWING
Once our age progresses, we begin to forget the joys of childhood, such as swinging. Remember when your hair flies (and sometimes it gets into your mouth?), when you get ahead to be higher and feel some freedom? Well, in Anti Gravity class, childhood overwhelms you, because you remember how you did all kinds of acrobatics in that swing, only now you’re bigger, and the swing is a lot safer. Head down, feet up, belly, back, ah and I forgot about the abs! Be sure to have a few days of fever in your abs (every time I move or turn I hear the coach’s voice – Plum, liver, wide, plum, liver, wide).
YOUNG BODY, YOUNG SOUL
I know, I may not have made you “hungry” yet to try, but lust comes by eating, and the “menu” are the benefits I’ll describe to you.
You know, the metaphor with childhood was very good, because the moves you make have an anti-aging effect (so what that you’re in your 20s ? We girls are always obsessed with staying young and beautiful, so it’s never too early!).
Believe me, when you’re upside down, you feel like your legs are burning, and the causes aren’t that the hammock is somehow disturbing or you just feel your muscles. Bloody Mary, is it you? When you relax, your blood has a marathon to complete. So yes, it stimulates the lymphatic system, which helps you take off the “unwanted kilograms”, think more clearly, and feel freer.
The position of the “cat” is quite funny (because at the same time you make a sound), but thanks to these hours you become so flexible that this flexibility makes you feel sexier than a cat!
The end of the hour is probably the most favorite and relaxing moment because you really swing in the hammock, and the fact that you are with your eyes closed, helps you to imagine yourself somewhere on the seafront, feeling the warmth of the sun (in fact it is the effect of running blood), and all the everyday problems are somewhere far away from you.
Result? You leave more toned, in a good mood, and without knowing that the next day you will remember that time (don’t forget- plum, liver, wide).
